When I first started Incursion Red River, I thought, “This will be immersive.” But I quickly wound up lost in the jungle. Then, I tried hitting ‘M’ to access my map, but it brings up your hotkeys, which is helpful. But I need to know where I’m going. Here is how to use the map in Incursion Red River!
How to Open the Map in Incursion Red River
As I said, using the ‘M’ key on your keyboard doesn’t open the map in Incursion Red River. Instead, you must hit ‘4’ on the top number key row to access your GCPS. It’s a tactical navigational tablet with access to your current task objectives and an overhead satellite map of the current zone.

The yellow arrow on the map is you, and the point indicates which direction you’re facing. You can then better navigate the game world by deciphering the various routes, including paved roads and dirt paths, along with crucial structures at points of interest around the zone.

How to Find Points of Interest
As you scan your tablet, you’ll note various points of interest on your map. Your objective is typically marked with a white icon. In the screenshot above, for the quest Stealth Surveillance, note the white bug icons indicating where I must place the devices on each container.
But you’ll also note the telltale extraction icon commonly used in the genre. It’s a small square with an arrow indicating an exit. For additional information, you can hover over these extraction points in Incursion Red River. Some don’t unlock immediately, and others lock after a specific amount of time passes, so keep an eye on your point of exit.
The Guide Hall continues to roam the jungles in Incursion Red River, AK in hand, ready to earn some cash for each completed job. We’ll have additional guides for you shortly!
