How to Unlock New Weapons in Incursion Red River
Unlocking new weapons in Incursion Red River is not immediately straightforward. You must increase your reputation with the various factions to unlock additional items in the store, including guns. But you’ll also earn new weapons by completing tasks on the job board.
As you increase your rep with all of the available factions, new weapons unlock. Then, you pay the asking price and set up your loadout in the inventory to the left-hand side of the safe house.
However, you can also loot weapons from fallen enemies in the zone. Most of them carry standard-issue gear, like MP5s, M4A1s, and the occasional SCAR-H. Still, it’s likely more than you have now, so I do recommend scooping up any dropped weapons you find. You can either sell the excess or customize your gun for the next raid!

How to Unlock Rarity Tiers in Incursion Red River
When you access the Trader via your terminal, you’ll note that many of the weapons in the store appear grey-out. They’re unavailable to purchase. If you attempt to buy one, it will tell you that you have yet to reach the appropriate rarity tier.
To increase your rarity tiers and unlock new weapons in Incursion Red River, you must complete jobs for the various factions. The more successful missions you have, the greater your reputation with that specific group. As your reputation increases, so too do the available weaponry, attachments, and items to buy in the store.
Recommended Guns for New Players
You’ll start Incursion Red River with little more than an AK-74M and Glock 19. This is the standard loadout of a PMC in this universe, and it’s the same equipment you’ll receive by running a “Provided Loadout” when starting a mission.
However, you’ll want to upgrade your gear quickly—at least acquire a scope or sight to improve your aiming capabilities. For now, we recommend the following weapons for new players:
- Colt M4A1
- MP5SD
- P320
Here, you have a competent sidearm, a silenced submachine gun, and a highly modifiable assault rifle. It’s the perfect, well-rounded toolkit for any budding operator in a hostile warzone!
