The indie scene is positively buzzing right now with the surprise launch of another horror cooperative game, similar to Lethal Company but unique enough to keep everyone’s interest. So, in Content Warning, how many players currently enjoy the game?
How Many People Play Content Warning?
It’s tough to keep track of precisely how many players Content Warning currently has at any given time because, due to its massive success on launch day, the numbers fluctuate by the minute. For example, when I sat down to write this piece for you, there was just a smidgen over 185,000 players in-game on a Tuesday morning. But as I write, that number blossomed to just under 190,000 players. It’s steadily growing!
Like Lethal Company, I imagine we’ll see a massive influx of people during launch week and the upcoming weekend before the hype begins to settle down. For example, using Lethal Company once more, as it’s the closest in the genre, we saw a massive peak of 240,000 players before things settled down to 30,000.

What is the All-Time Peak Players in Content Warning?
Again, it’s too early to tell the precise all-time peak as the number of players in Content Warning continues to grow. What I can tell you, however, is that the indie co-op horror game surpassed 201,000 players on a weekday morning, which is positively insane to imagine.
At this rate, it will surpass Lethal Company. By launching the game free for a limited time, the developers absolutely set themselves up for long-term success, but we’ll see what they do to retain their player base in the coming days and weeks.
