Bodycam Horror Zoochosis Coming to Xbox Consoles Next Week

When I played Zoochosis last year, it was with the lights on. There’s something about body horror, and bodycam horror, that sets my nerves on edge, unlike any other type in the genre, but I couldn’t stop playing either. It was engrossing, terrifying, and curious in equal measures. Thankfully, I’m not the only one who thought so. Zoochosis is coming to Xbox consoles next week, on October 24, and with it, a brand-new animal joins the fray!

So, yeah, Zoochosis launches on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on October 24. At the same time, the new animal releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, so that everyone can experience the latest horror.

What is Zoochosis?

In Zoochosis, a bodycam horror sim, you play as a brand-new zookeeper tasked with identifying mutant animals, crafting a vaccine, and treating said animals before their mutations take hold completely. If you fail, the horrors that will be unleashed will remain in your dreams for some time. They’re terrifying!

  • YOU ARE A ZOOKEEPER:
    • Interact with the animals, take care of them, choose and prepare a meal for them, restock and clean up after them in the enclosure.
  • SAVE THE ANIMALS:
    • Something is wrong with the animals. But you can save them. You can discover the cause of the infection, create a vaccine, and cure them.
  • CHOICES MATTER:
    • Which animals will you save? Will you survive? Many endings depend on the choices you make.
