- Select “Verify integrity of game files.”
- Run Helldivers 2 as Administrator.
- Right-click Helldivers 2 in your Steam Library.

- Choose the “bin” folder and locate the game’s .exe file. Right-click it and then choose “Run as administrator.”
- Reinstall Helldivers 2
Obviously, the last “fix” is the nuclear option. While not the most significant download on Steam, Helldivers 2 is rather beefy. Who wants to uninstall and reinstall their favorite game repeatedly for a chance to play?
