To unlock the Eagle 500 kg Bomb in Helldivers 2, you must first hit level 15 and then visit the Ship Management terminals aboard your starship. It’s under the Stratagems tab, beneath the Hangar section, and will cost you 10,000 Requisition Slips.

When to Use the Eagle 500 kg Bomb
I find myself using the Eagle 500kg Bomb Stratagem in Helldivers 2 primarily to destroy nests, outposts, and key objectives, like the illegal broadcast tower or research facility.
However, if you’re playing on Challenging difficulty or above, when hordes of enemies enter the fray, you might want to drop one to clear the way. It’s more than capable of eliminating a small horde of enemies.
You may find it difficult to take down a large target, like Chargers or Bile Titans. There’s a short drop period, then a few seconds before the bomb explodes upon hitting the ground. During this time, an enemy may leave the zone. I prefer status targets!
