By default, the ‘Z’ key is how you use VOIP in Gray Zone Warfare. It’s a bit bothersome to use, as you’ll likely have your fingers glued to ‘WASD’ for movement, which means shifting one of your fingers somewhat unnaturally to hit the push-to-talk key. Alternatively, you’ll have to move your entire hand to coordinate. It’ll vary per person.
That said, you’ll want to find what works best for you. Communication is a crucial part of Gray Zone Warfare, even when playing solo, as you may stumble upon another squad and need to call out your position to avoid friendly fire. Unfortunately, they may friendly-fire you anyway for your gear, which happens all too often right now.

- Find a team that you mesh well with to ensure you play smoothly and effectively.
