Will Farming Simulator 25 Allow Cross Platform Play?
As Farming Simulator 25 is launching simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in November of this year, the community wants to know more about cross platform play in the new title. Well, you’re in luck because it certainly does off cross platform play between all three systems.
If you’re playing Farming Simulator 25 on PC, but your buddy only plays on PlayStation 5, you can host a multiplayer server, and both of you may connect to play and work on the same farm and fields. There’s even a host of new features and gameplay tweaks designed for multiplayer and cross platform play!

What is Multiplayer Like in Farming Simulator 25?
In Farming Simulator 22, up to 16 players could simultaneously play crossplay between all available systems in a single server. Of course, 16 players were only possible if the host was on PC. If the host was playing on a console, it’s a max of 6 players. We suspect the same may be true of this year’s multiplayer mode, too.
Every player could create a character, allowing for extended personalization across all parties, and then control their individual avatar on the farmland. You could split tasks, allowing one or two players to pick up equipment while another player starts to till the field, etc. It’s all good fun and worth the time if you can find a competent group to play with!
