Farming Simulator 25 is not launching on last-gen systems, only supporting PC and current-gen systems: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It’s becoming more commonplace for developers to support only current-gen hardware and completely ignore last-gen systems, despite how many people still play on both PS4 and Xbox One.

What Systems Does Farming Simulator 25 Support?
Following the game’s announcement, Farming Simulator 25 is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. There is no word about a Nintendo Switch release, though it’s unlikely, considering the various upgrades this year’s release touts. That said, Farming Simulator 22 did launch on Nintendo Switch, so it’s still a possibility.
While disappointing, last-gen systems are unlikely to receive support from Giants down the line. If they didn’t plan for the hardware during development, a firm decision was likely made early on to support the current hardware instead.
