Where to Find Ghouls in Fallout 76
You can find Feral Ghouls in Fallout 76 all over Appalachia, but my preferred spot to farm them for dailies—or just for the experience points to level up quickly—is at the Whitespring Golf Club. It’s the small, two-story building near the tennis courts, just down the road from The Whitespring Resort.
If you’ve exhausted this band of Ghouls, then a few other critical locations to check include:
- Morgantown
- Big B’s Rest Stop
- Camp Venture
- Red Rocket Mega Stop
- Harpers Ferry
- Appalachian Antiques
- Charleston Capitol Building
- Monongah Power Substation MZ-02
- Sal’s Grinders
- R&G Processing Services
Alternatively, you can run into Feral Ghouls almost anywhere in the world, as they’ll often spawn in small groups to ambush you while you’re wandering the world. Just listen for their telltale gasping snarl before they lunge at you!

How to Beat Ghouls in Combat
- You’ll find that Feral Ghouls are most vulnerable to headshots, like your typical zombie enemies in other games.
- Feral Ghouls succumb to the Ghoul Slayer’s Legendary Prefix, which incurs additional damage to Ghoul-type enemies.
- Do not use radiation-based weaponry, as Rads heal Feral Ghouls!
- If all else fails, toss an explosive into a small mob of Feral Ghouls for a multi-kill!
Feral Ghoul Challenges in Fallout 76
While I personally enjoy farming Feral Ghouls for EXP, most players only track them down for dailies. There are a few challenges in the game associated with Feral Ghouls, namely:
- Kill Feral Ghouls in nuked regions (Daily)
- Kill Feral Ghouls with simple weapons (Weekly)
Neither proves overly challenging, thankfully. It’s just a matter of tracking down Feral Ghoul locations in Fallout 76!
