As a long-time fan of Fallout 76 with a few hundred hours spent exploring Appalachia—not to mention thousands of hours spent across the entire franchise—I’ve eagerly awaited the opportunity to play as a ghoul! Thank you, Bethesda, because it’s finally coming to Fallout 76. In Fallout 76 Season 20: Glow of the Ghoul, players can become irradiated, altering themselves into a ghoul, along with a whole toxic waste-themed C.A.M.P. setup.
What’s New in Fallout 76 Season 20: Glow of the Ghoul?
The upcoming season of Fallout 76 features a whole slew of new content, including toxic-themed C.A.M.P. items, regular events and sales throughout the season. But most importantly, you can play as a Ghoul.
Now, Ghouls have all manner of cool buffs, like unique perks designed to withstand radiation, the ability to go Feral, and, oddly enough, a perk to reload your weapon instantly. Being a Ghoul also means that certain NPCs won’t speak to you, and some will prove outright hostile!
Fallout 76 Season 20: Glow of the Ghoul kicks off on March 18, alongside the next major update to the online Fallout experience, Ghoul Within, which allows all players the chance to play as a Ghoul!
