You know I’m always down to play another cozy farming sim, especially one as gorgeous as Starsand Island. It’s aesthetically pleasing, filled with life-sim mechanics that I can’t get enough of, and it’s almost here. According to developer Seed Lab, Starsand Island officially launches in February 2026. It’s crazy to believe we’re almost there!
The official release date for Starsand Island is February 1, 2026. You can check out the latest trailer for the game, straight from the Tokyo Game Show 2025, above. In addition to the release date information, we’re excited to share that you can play Starsand Island at the upcoming Steam Next Fest, taking place from October 13 to 20. It’s a demo, of course, but you’ll have a chance to explore the world, test out the game mechanics, and introduce yourself to a cast of memorable characters.
