When you first start a game of Dustland Delivery, you’re flying solo. You have your truck and a single driver—the character you chose or created before starting a new game—to help you progress through the wasteland. But if you want to survive, you need a capable crew. How to Hire Crew in Dustland Delivery
The easiest and most efficient way to hire crew in Dustland Delivery is to roll into one of the game’s many towns and locate the Bar. If a settlement has a Bar, you’ll find it on the right-hand side of your HUD from the town menu. Select “Bar,” and then you’ll receive the screen shown in the screenshot above with detailed information on each—name, gender, faction, and success rate—along with their options to interact with each character.
They vary, however. Some will sell you items, some want to get frisky, others will buy junk from you, some offer time-limited jobs, and others want to work for you. The ones that act as crew that you can hire will have “Hire” as one of their two options.
That said, there’s a chance you can’t afford their services. Some prospects require upfront hiring fees and often go into the many thousands of scrap. It’s tough out there in the wasteland!
Alternatively, you may occasionally discover hireable crew out on the road, as part of random events, or as “rewards” for completing tasks.

Why You Need Crew in Dustland Delivery
Your crew will inevitably become weary as you travel the wasteland searching for work, fortune, or purpose. They’ll grow tired, drink too much and become drunk, or find themselves incapacitated due to injuries caused by random events or quest mishaps.
If your driver cannot function, they cannot drive. You’ll need someone else to take the wheel in their stead, where a second or even third crew member comes into play.
Furthermore, the more fighting crew you have, the more likely you will survive dangerous encounters with bandits, raiders, and infected. It’s wise to occasionally upgrade your crew members’ Attack skill to help stave off the dangers of the wasteland!
