Where to Find Snake Mackerel in Dredge
You’ll need to catch a Snake Mackerel in Dredge as part of the Pursuit for the Hooded Figure in Blue, found on an island between The Marrows and Gale Cliffs. Now, there are a lot of fish in the game, and tracking down a single one proves challenging. But you can find Snake Mackerel in and around Devil’s Spine, just off the archipelago’s coast. It’s a Coastal-type fish you can catch using a rod or trawl net, so keep roaming the open water in search of disturbances.
I caught one for this side quest at the chain of large islands between The Marrows and Devil’s Spine, just off the coast of the northernmost landmass.
To catch a Snake Mackerel, it’s the fishing minigame where the inner ring expands outward until it reaches the outer ring, and then you must hit the appropriate button when the two line up.
