Plenty of genres and individual games I play on PC beg for a controller. Oddly enough, despite being a PC gamer at heart, I often find myself grabbing my controller more frequently these days. But the simulation genre isn’t one I usually associate with controllers. With that in mind, does ContractVille have controller support?
Can You Play ContractVille With a Controller?
As of right now, ContractVille does not offer controller support. But it’s coming! According to the developer, they plan to implement full controller support on PC in a coming update. Despite the feature appearing on their roadmap, scheduled for sometime in the next few months, the studio reiterated to the community that “this is still under consideration.”
What does that mean for those who enjoy playing such games with a controller? Developer MYM Games Studios may ultimately cancel the feature and functionality altogether, which would also make it challenging to play ContractVille on Steam Deck. Of course, that’s not the current plan, so here’s hoping everything goes well!

When is Controller Support Coming to ContractVille?
According to the ContractVille roadmap, which details the subsequent few updates leading up to the game’s full release in December, controller support is meant for sometime in November. That said, and once more to reiterate, the note for November does say “Under Consideration,” and it also includes a “survey to develop the feature of the player’s choice.”
I’m quite curious to see which features the community requests. There’s a chance controller support remains the number one most requested mechanic, and in that case, the studio would likely feel obligated to provide it.
Whether you intend to wait for a controller or continue playing with a mouse and keyboard, every good contractor should know how to tile floors in ContractVille! We’ll have more from the open-world simulator as The Guide Hall delves in further!
