Thankfully, you no longer require the Bethesda Launcher to play Fallout 76. In their infinite wisdom, Bethesda ultimately made the sound decision to launch all of their titles through Steam, eliminating the need for yet another third-party launcher.
In early 2022, the studio announced it would discontinue the Bethesda Launcher and focus solely on Steam. This was a wise choice, as there are far more players on Steam than on any other launcher worldwide.
As such, you don’t have to mess around with another launcher to enjoy Fallout 76!
