The most recent update introduced Wrought Iron in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unlike other metals in the game, you can’t get this by mining for materials; you must complete daily quests from Remy.
These quests are for a new mobile Chez Remy business model where other villagers in the Valley can order specific food items in bulk, putting your cooking skills to the test.
How to Get Wrought Iron
The first thing you need to do is find Remy and talk to him. After you talk to him, he’ll give a rundown of what the customer wants. In this case, Stitch wants eight seafood dishes.
Once you know what to make, head to any cooking station to create the food you need. For most of these challenges, you’ll need to make a specific type of food—for example, seafood dishes or five-star desserts.
If you’re having trouble finding what qualifies for the quest, scroll down to the star icon in your recipes menu, and a list of all the possible recipes will appear.
The next thing you must do in the daily quests is deliver the food to whichever villager ordered it. In this case, it was Stitch. Once you’ve selected to give the food to the villager, they’ll give you a rundown of why they needed the food. In this case, Stitch needed the seafood to prank Donald Duck.
Depending on the quest, you may need to do additional things. For example, I had to talk to Donald afterward to warn him about this specific day.
Once you’ve completed any additional steps, return to Remy, and he’ll give you two pieces of Wrought Iron. After this, you can either make some stuff with the Wrought Iron or wait until the next day when you can complete another quest.

What to Do With Wrought Iron
Now that you know how to get Wrought Iron in Disney Dreamlight Valley, what do you do with it? The only thing you can use Wrought Iron for is crafting furniture items, so if you aren’t a fan of decorating or don’t like the way the items look, these quests aren’t necessary.
You can make six different furniture pieces with Wrought Iron as of now: Wrought Iron walkway slabs, an ornate Parisian statue, an ornate Parisian table, a Parisian table, an ornate Parisian chair, and a Parisian chair.
These furniture pieces do have a variety of uses, though. They can decorate the exterior of Chez Remy in either the Valley or Eternity Isle; however, they also make good items for plaza areas like parks, and the walkway slabs make good stepping stone paths outside of Eve and Wall-E’s houses.
Final Thoughts
The items are cute! This update did come really late, though, since a lot of people have already spent time decorating the exterior of Chez Remy. The daily quests get repetitive, as with all quests in the game. It’s a lot of doing the same things every day and running back and forth between characters with not much dialog change.
If you’re a fan of these items, then this is a really fun way of acquiring the materials. It’s also not as monotonous as mining. There is also a sense of achievement when finally acquiring enough Wrought Iron to make some of the bigger items, like the ornate Parisian statue.
