How to Beat the Dreadnought in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
To beat the Dreadnought, you must kite the boss extensively but stay within visible range. The Dreadnought is relatively slow but occasionally utilizes a lunge skill attack that deals extensive damage. If the lunge hits you, it can stun you for a second and allow the horde of bugs and the boss to sneak in a second strike. But to combat the lunge, watch for the telltale cue and then move to either side. The Dreadnought will throw itself directly forward, so your goal is to get out of the way.
Between his lunge attacks, kite around the arena and continuously pummel him with long-range shots and grenades. It will take time, depending on your damage, but it’s doable.

The Best Class to Beat the Dreadnought
First and foremost, know that each class in the game — Scout, Gunner, Engineer, and Driller — can beat the Dreadnought in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. It all depends on your skills and equipment more than anything else, so thinking ahead to the final round can save your skin and see you return to the surface.
That said, considering you can only choose one class, I recommend picking the Engineer. They can drop down turrets to deal with mobs and peck at the Dreadnought, and their secondary weapon, the Hi-Volt Thunderbird, deals quite a bit of damage while circling you. Regarding your turrets, invest points into increasing their damage and fire rate to really push back the bugs. Between the two, you should make quick work of both mobs and the boss if you put enough points into damage.
You will, of course, want to level up the turrets before this point. But hey, that’s why you have four other levels before the boss fight.
