Shortly after completing the game’s prologue and upon arriving at Emma Jaunt’s house, you’ll have a sense of relief wash over you. You’re finally safe. Right? Unfortunately, it becomes increasingly clear that the zombie apocalypse isn’t slowing down. It’s your job to defend the mansion as the only able-bodied survivor, which requires finding Emma’s house fuse box in Dead Island 2!
How to Find Emma’s House Fuse Box in Dead Island 2
When you finally wake up, handcuffed to a workout machine, it’s not long before chaos ensues. You can hear a ruckus downstairs, and Emma runs off to investigate. It is, of course, zombies outside of the mansion, and you’re the only one capable or brave enough to deal with the problem. As it turns out, the front gate is wide open.
Head outside and deal with the first few zombies that have entered from the front. Here, you’ll learn how to dropkick, which is a remarkably helpful move you’ll use throughout the campaign.
Once you deal with the few zombies, you’ll learn the front gate won’t close without a circuit breaker for the fuse box. But there’s none in sight!
Turn around, and you’ll note a ramp leading downward. It leads to the garage, where a slow-moving zombie guards. Clear the way, then duck under the door.
Inside, you’ll spot a few bodies, abandoned vehicles, and a small fire raging in the back of the room. The circuit breaker is in the fuse box on the opposite side of the fire, which you’ll need to extinguish.
Thankfully, someone left a few jerry cans with water on the bench to the right of the roaring fire. You can pick one up, pour water over the flames, and then toss the can aside.
With the flames extinguished, step forth and claim your prize. There’s a single circuit breaker to pull from Emma’s house fux box in the garage, and there are no consequences for removing this one. Just pull it, head back through the garage door and to the front gate.
You’ll notice a few more zombies wandering in through the front. I recommend rushing forward, placing the circuit breaker in the fuse box, and then dealing with the problem. The longer you wait, the more zombies you’ll fight. It takes a bit of time for the front gate to close, and your final task is to prevent any more from entering while it does.
