The world of Dawn of Defiance features an assortment of otherworldly abilities. However, you won’t unlock these until you follow the tutorial quests on the Isle of Arrival. But that’s easier said than done, as the game doesn’t provide much direction. Here is how to restore the Bowless Statue in Dawn of Defiance!
What You Need to Restore the Bowless Statue
First and foremost, you can find the Bowless Statue, the final part of the Place of Power questline, at the northern tip of the Isle of Arrival. It’s marked on the map below.
Once there, you must have a Giant Stone Bow to restore the statue.
You can craft a Giant Stone Bow (x7 Stone) at a Crafting Station at your base. You must place the workbench on a foundation for it to function, so keep that in mind when building.
Furthermore, you only need one Giant Stone Bow, so don’t waste your resources.
As you approach the Place of Power, be wary. All other locations were heavily guarded by Soldiers wielding spears, javelins, and shields. It’s the same here, but they tend to come out of the woodwork. The enemies spawn in the bushes and rocks surrounding the area and will attack you from the flanks.
Once you clear the hostiles, walk up to the Bowless Statue and interact with it to place the Giant Stone Bow. When you do, a tribute brazier will rise from the ground in the center of the temple. You must fill it with 50 Ambrosia Dust to pay tribute.
Afterward, don’t forget to interact with the now-burning brazier to acquire your new ability!

Rewards for Restoring the Bowless Statue
Upon paying tribute and completing Place of Power III, you will receive Glide. It’s probably the most useful ability in the game, allowing you to traverse great distances without ever touching the ground. If you start from a high vantage point, you can soar easily over the trees and hilltops.
That said, Glide does use your Stamina. Once you run out of Stamina, you’ll float back to the ground and return to the world of mortals.
