Over time, while you’re out adventuring in the various biomes, your followers back at the campsite will grow old and weary. They’ll age and, eventually, succumb to time and fall by the wayside. You have options. You can feed the remains to your Followers or respect the dead and bury them. The latter is preferable. Here is how to make a Grave in Cult of the Lamb.
How to Build a Grave in Cult of the Lamb
There are a few prerequisites to building a Grave in Cult of the Lamb. First and foremost, you must unlock Grieve the Fallen. It’s the Tier 4 Afterlife Doctrine. This will allow you to construct a Grave, which farms +2 Faith each time a Follower grieves for the fallen.
But to build the Grave, you require:
- Body Pit
- 20x Gold Coins
- 3x Stone Blocks
You can only build a Grave over the top of a Body Pit. It’s an upgrade. For the most part, it’s not tough to plant one down. The Stone Blocks may trouble you, but you can craft some at the Refinery using 3x Stone per Stone Block.
Where to Place Graves in Cult of the Lamb
If you’re the type to prefer aesthetics above all else, then you’ll likely want to craft a small graveyard somewhere on your plot of land. In one of my playthroughs, I did this in the top right corner of the map.
But then, after countless hours in the game, I learned how to optimize a Grave. If you place them at random intervals across your base, especially where Followers gravitate towards or pass by frequently, they’ll occasionally stop to grieve the fallen. Then, you’ll farm +2 Faith.
