Cult of the Lamb: How to Fish

Cult of the Lamb features numerous unique mechanics, including gathering, planting, and, yes, even fishing. It’s a fantastic way to feed your Followers and a necessity if you want to finish every side quest in the game. Here is how to fish in Cult of the Lamb!

How to Fish in Cult of the Lamb

To fish in Cult of the Lamb, once you unlock the mechanic and mini-game, you walk up to the fishing point in Pilgrim’s Passage, right along the edge of the water near The Fisherman, and hit the interact button to cast your line. You can designate how strong of a throw you want to put behind your cast, and it will affect the distance.

With your line in the water, wait for one of the fish to bite. Once they do, a second gauge will appear. Your job is to hold and tap ‘A‘ on the controller to keep the hook icon in the green bar until the fish is fully reeled up to the shore.

Once it reaches your side, you’ll score your catch!

Where to Fish

There is only a single spot in the game where you may cast your line into the waters to catch a few fish in your off hours. That’s at Pilgrim’s Passage. It’s a small settlement, home to the run-down lighthouse, a handful of shops, some resources, and The Fisherman.

Unfortunately, you won’t meet The Fisherman, who will unlock access to Pilgrim’s Passage, until you discover him casually fishing in a pond within Darkwood. It may take you a few attempts to find him on a Crusade.

Types of Fish in Cult of the Lamb

There are a handful of fish in the game, with some necessary to complete side quests for ThE Fisherman and others only serving a single purpose: food.

As for those you need for side quests, they include the Crab, Lobster, Octopus, and Squid.
