It’s that time of the year when we finally start seeing more about the upcoming games we’re most excited to play. It’s Gamescom, baby! To kickstart the summer event, we’ve received a glance at Crimson Desert gameplay, with a brand-new trailer showcasing the White Horn boss fight!
The new Crimson Desert gameplay trailer in question, which you can check out below, features an opening cinematic and then seemingly uncut gameplay from the boss fight itself.
It all begins with our hero character approaching a merry group of bandits in search of children. Before long, the White Horn enters the fray, and while the bandits make their escape, our hero jumps into a challenging boss fight.
We get a look at combat encounters in full, with unique abilities, such as a charge and slam attack, light attack combo strikes, and finishing moves designed to end fights quickly. It’s a brutal, visceral combat style that looks rewarding and fluid.
That said, Pearl Abyss definitely enjoys its particle effects!
We’ll know more about Crimson Desert as Gamescom proceeds in the coming days. Here’s hoping we see more gameplay!
