A relatively common objective in ContractVille is to lay down brand-new tile flooring to improve a home’s appearance and resale value. Unfortunately, it’s not immediately straightforward how to handle tile flooring. Well, here’s how to tile floors in ContractVille!
Step One: Remove the Old Floor
First and foremost, when you’re on the job, enter the room where you must lay down new tile flooring in ContractVille. Once there, open your tool wheel by holding down right-click on your mouse, then navigate to the sledgehammer tool. It’s called “Demolish.”
With the sledgehammer equipped, bash away the old flooring until it’s completely clear, and you’ll be left with grayish underflooring.
You’re now ready to lay down the new tile!

Step Two: Lay Down the Tile
First and foremost, double-check your mission log to ensure you purchase the correct type of tile from the hardware store in town. Once you have a box or two, bring the supplies into the room you previously prepped with the sledgehammer. With the box in hand, you’ll left-click your mouse to place down a single tile or hold down left-click and drag in a straight line to place down multiple tile pieces simultaneously.
At first, there’s a limit to how far you can drag and drop tile flooring pieces, though. You must upgrade your skills by progressing deeper into the game to tile an entire floor more effectively!
