Unless you enjoy having someone else absolutely destroy all of your progress, I suggest choosing who you invite to your game wisely. ContractVille allows for multiplayer, but that doesn’t mean you must open your game to the public. Here’s how to invite friends to ContractVille!
How to Play Multiplayer in ContractVille
First and foremost, when starting a new game or loading an existing save from the main menu, in the box below your various manual and auto saves, don’t forget to check the box for multiplayer. If you do not check the multiplayer box, you’ll load into an offline, single-player game and cannot invite anyone to join your company.
Once you’re in-game, hit ‘ESC’ to pause the game and select “Invite Friend.” This will open a brand-new screen on your tablet with detailed information about your company, including the roles, permissions, and active players on the server.
Here, you’ll note the green box that reads “Invite Friend.” Once you’ve selected how many players you’d like in your server, hit this button. It will open up a Steam Friends List, showing who is actively playing the game. You may then choose any of your friends, and it will send them an invite.

How Many People Can Play ContractVille Co-op?
In total, ContractVille allows for four players in a single server. If you suspect your system cannot handle all four players, especially during demolition missions, which produce quite a bit of debris, you may want to limit your server to just two or three players, including yourself, in total.
