Whenever a new or upcoming RPG catches our attention, one of the first mechanics or features I look at revolves around its class selection. While I enjoy an open-ended character or playstyle, allowing me to mix and match, I’m old-school and can’t help but pick a class type, start an alt for a secondary class, and grind. With that in mind, here’s a look at the playable classes coming to Erenshor on day one!
All Four Classes in Erenshor
On launch day, Erenshor will feature four playable classes spanning multiple archetypes, including ranged, DPS, and tank, as usual with the MMORPG genre.
- Arcanist
- The Arcanist is Erenshor’s answer to the spellcasting mage or wizard-type class in most MMORPGs. Favoring light armor, such as cloth, the Arcanist wields various magic types while avoiding close-quarters combat.
- Attributes: Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma
- Druid
- The Druid in Erenshor commands nature, life, and death, wielding magical abilities tied to the planet itself. Here’s hoping we can shift into a bear or spider, too.
- Attributes: Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma
- Duelist
- Like a rogue or assassin in other MMORPGs, the Duelist is Erenshor’s high DPS class. The class utilizes light armor and weapons like daggers to deal damage and remain on the move.
- Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence
- Paladin
- Here we go! Erenshor’s Paladin is the tank-like class, wielding heavy armor and oversized weapons, like two-handed swords, to take aggro and deal damage.
- Attributes: Strength, Agility, and Endurance

Will More Classes Come to Erenshor?
While the developer behind Erenshor has expressed interest on the Steam community forums in adding additional classes to the game, such as Bard, there is no official confirmation yet as to when or whether that will happen.
That said, they did hint that classes “would come later,” but that’s only so long as people continue playing and enjoying the game, allowing development to progress.
