In my humble opinion, we don’t have enough open-world role-playing games with vampires as the core element. Sure, you can find a few vampiric enemies in top RPGs, but they’re not often the core component, the focal point. But in The Blood of Dawnwalker, that’s not the case. Here, you play as a human by day and a vampire by night. But is the upcoming action RPG from developer Rebel Wolves open-world? Here’s what you should know about The Blood of Dawnwalker!
According to a recent AMA with developer Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is indeed an open-world RPG with an expansive landscape to explore. We, as humans and vampires, will explore different biomes, cities, villages, and more.
They said:
It’s an open-world game and you can go anywhere you want after the prologue, but it does have different areas/biomes too. So you’ll have the city of Svartrau, some smaller villages, mountains, forests and riverside, swamps, ancient ruins, etc.
It sounds like Rebel Wolves is constructing an immersive RPG that, hopefully, allows us to live the life of both a medieval human and a vampire hunting at night—the best of both worlds—while uncovering unique points of interest, delving into dungeons, and discovering loot!
