As part of your first steps in the lands of Bellwright, you must construct a Personal Shack outside of the nearby town of Haerndean. Overall, a shack isn’t tough. It’s a bunch of Sticks and Flax propped upright to create a lean-to with a little more space for a bedroll and personal chest. But finding those resources proves challenging in this new world. How to Get Flax in Bellwright
You need a handful of Flax in Bellwright to construct your first Personal Shack. It’s your home in this foreign land, but finding Flax isn’t immediately apparent. If you look around, it’s likely all around you. I built just down the hill from Haerndean, in the Sunsteep Valley, to the south of the village. There’s a nice patch of clear land between a copse of trees and a dirt road with a stone wall lining either side. Looking here, you can find Flax growing sparsely across the field. The purple flower is just slightly taller than the surrounding weeds.
To harvest the Flax, walk up and left-click to pick up the resource. However, you only receive one per plant, and you need quite a bit for crafting and construction in Bellwright. But you have limited inventory space, so take what you need, then return to your Personal Shack blueprint to drop off the supplies.
