After you finish building your Personal Shack, it’s likely still daytime. You can’t meet with the village elder until the following day, so to kill some time, it’s recommended that you explore the surrounding area. I spent my time gathering resources, filling my storage chest, and constructing a campfire in Bellwright. Here’s how to build one and fuel it!
How to Build a Campfire in Bellwright
To build a campfire in Bellwright, open your build menu (Hotkey: B) like with the Personal Shack. You can find the Campfire on the top row, which is likely the second building option beside the Camp Chest. It requires:
- 5x Wood
- 3x Stone
Like when building the Personal Shack, you must circle the ghostly blueprint you place down until you find the white dot resource points. There are a few in a circle around the central portion of the blueprint, creating a ring of stones for the fire and then a few stick holders around the exterior of the firepit.

How to Refuel a Campfire in Bellwright
Once you finish construction, please walk up to the firepit itself. You want to step close without lighting yourself on fire. I’m honestly not sure if the game has fire damage, but I didn’t want to find out for myself yet. Once you step close enough, you can cook raw resources from your inventory, including fish. It would be best if you got closer. Once you see the option to fuel the fire, you can automatically draw wood from your inventory to fuel the flames.
A campfire can hold four pieces of wood as fuel at a time, and the blue circle around the fire icon will slowly empty as the fuel burns.
