As a survival game with food and water requirements, you will inevitably need to refill your water skin and take a chug before you pass out. It wouldn’t do well for a Viking to appear weak in front of the whole village, after all. Here is where to get water in ASKA!
How to Get Water in ASKA
In the early game, the best way I found to refill my water skin was to locate a Natural Water Collector. These rocks are oddly shaped and have a small indent that allows water to pool. You can walk up and interact with the rock, drinking directly from the pool or gathering the resource to refill your water skin.
Unless you’re dying of thirst, I recommend refilling your water skin. It’ll come in handy as you adventure across the land!
In time, as you settle down and start to construct a village or even a small base, you’ll have a chance to place down a Water Well and Rain Collector. Both require resources easier found with tools, like the flimsy axe, and need a bit of space to place.

As such, I recommend waiting until you have either an outpost or the perfect site for your village before building either. In the meantime, the water you find naturally in the environment and from your water skin should suffice.
