Does The Outlast Trials Have Mods?
Believe it or not, The Outlast Trials mods do exist. Despite being a multiplayer horror game, which usually don’t allow for modding due to the online components, this is one where you can find a handful of mods on Nexus.
That said, the available mods—at least for now—prove relatively simple and minor overall. You won’t find enemy replacements or additional content. Instead, they focus more on graphics and performance, with reshades and FOV sliders.

The Best The Outlast Trials Mods Currently
As mentioned, there aren’t many mods for The Outlast Trials to select from, but we recommend the following:
- Outlast Trials VHS: A Reshade overhaul inspired by content from Outlast and Outlast 2.
- No-Intro Videos Fix: While I love a good intro movie, especially from The Outlast Trials, viewing it a hundred times is excessive. This mod allows you to bypass the intro movie.
- FOV Changer: The default FOV in The Outlast Trials is 90, but with this mod, you can alter the values to suit your preferences better.
